I drove my BIL's CL63 AMG. It was fun, but I actually enjoyed the E92 M3 I drove recently more. There's something about that generation of M that I really like.

The CL63 AMG is a lovely cruiser, personally though, given the chance to buy one, I wouldn't go for the 5.5 BiTurbo but the older 6.2 N/A. There was just something about that engine, its urgency and being so raw. Sounded better too. Which one did you drive? 5.5 or 6.2?

It was the 5.5. Fast, and decent sounding engine. But I'd like to try the 6.2 N/A. That sounds more fun.

It does. Where you hear a whistle from the turbos with the 5.5, you can just hear pure mechanical roar from the 6.2. Although it's not as fast, it definitely sounds better and goes better. I drove a S63 AMG 6.2 at my old work place and boy oh boy did I enjoy it thoroughly! Have a go in one sometime. For me it's my all-time favourite engine.
